Been meaning to share this one for a while, but what better time than now? NS Ruthless just hit their first tournament in their new look and walked away with gold!

Their identity had to match their style—fast, aggressive, and unapologetic. We built something raw and relentless, merging their name into one unbreakable statement, backed by bold, grunge-heavy visuals. The goal was simple: capture the chaos and intensity of paintball in a design that hits as hard as they play.

Two jerseys, two tones—storm-gray and off-white—layered with chain lightning and splattered paint, a battlefield in motion, a relentless storm of paint. Their new mantra “No Mercy, Just Victory” stamped across the chest and back.

First tournament in the new look? Gold. How much bigger of a statement can you make than that?

Last winter feels like ages ago, but I’m finally getting around to sharing a glimpse of my work from that period - a testament to how far behind I am with sharing my work 😅

I teamed up with Waye Construction over the previous year to work on a series of promotional drone videos, with this first installation in the series capturing the essence of their projects in 1080p. This short, simple video was crafted for social media, giving a quick glimpse at their job site.

Introducing one of 2024's premier WindMills Media projects: a logo suite redesign for NOVA Heat Pumps, Plumbing & Electrical.

Our goal was straightforward—maintain the essence of their trusted old logo while infusing it with new vitality. The new design needed to resonate with a wide audience, from homeowners seeking reliable climate solutions to businesses needing expert plumbing and electrical services.

We crafted a cohesive visual identity that embodies warmth, fluidity, and energy, reflected through elemental symbols. The primary logo showcases a balanced blend of modern and traditional elements, while the secondary logo and badge provide versatile options for different branding needs. The logo icon, derived from these designs, captures the core essence of NOVA’s services in a compact form.

To complement the logo suite, we also developed a full set of custom brand icons. These icons further reinforce the new identity, each designed to symbolize various aspects of NOVA’s work in heating, plumbing, and electrical services.

Hey, everyone! It's been a minute since I posted anything significant on here. I've been deep in the trenches lately, working on some awesome projects I can’t wait to share with you all. The irony of my own digital presence taking a backseat while I work on others’ hasn't been lost on me. 🤔

But guess what? It's time to switch gears in preparation for 2025. I'm super stoked to start sharing some of the incredible work I've been immersed in over the past several months. The run-up to 2025 is going to be wild—new projects, new adventures, and a lot of creative magic coming our way.

In the meantime, please enjoy this awkward snapshot of my trusty assistant and I filming for a drone project from the corner of a park, trying not to scare all the locals. Usually he’s the one on the controls, but he let me try his gear on just for this photo so I can pretend I know what I’m doing.

Hey, that’s me!

Always cool to see my work out there in the world, especially when it’s for an awesome organization or event like this. As a MTA alumn and sports fanatic it means a lot to have my name attached.

This is where our June 1st Gala will be taking place (well not on the field, but in Marjorie Young Bell Convocation Hall, 37 York St.)

We will be celebrating the accomplishments of 7 New Brunswick sports icons, including Tantramar's Wayne Hicks, and since we will be doing all of that on Mt. Allison University's campus, we wanted to give a shout out to the Mt. Allison Mounties, the home team of Lucas Cormier. Cormier grew up watching another Mounties hero, Michael Bohan, and following Bohan's example, Cormier set his sights on playing professionally. training hard enough to become one of the few players to represent New Brunswick in the CFL thanks to that role model.

Stories like Cormier's are why our Hall of Fame takes seriously the job of celebrating our best athletes and running programs to educate children on New Brunswick sports and athleticism. So thank you to Mt. Allison and the town of Tantramar for hosting our 54th induction gala. It will be a night to remember!

C'est là qu'aura lieu notre gala du 1er juin (pas sur le terrain, mais dans le Marjorie Young Bell Convocation Hall, 37 rue York).

Nous célébrerons les réalisations de sept icônes du sport au Nouveau-Brunswick, dont Wayne Hicks de Tantramar, et puisque nous ferons tout cela sur le campus de l'université Mt. Allison, nous voulions faire un clin d'œil aux Mounties de Mt. Allison, l'équipe locale de Lucas Cormier. Cormier a grandi en regardant un autre héros des Mounties, Michael Bohan, et avec l'exemple de Bohan à suivre, Cormier s'est fixé comme objectif de jouer professionnellement. Il s'est entraîné suffisamment dur pour devenir l'un des rares joueurs à représenter le Nouveau-Brunswick dans la LCF, où il joue maintenant avec les Redblacks d'Ottawa.

Des histoires comme celle de Cormier sont la raison pour laquelle notre Temple de la renommée prend au sérieux la tâche de célébrer nos meilleurs athlètes et de diriger des programmes visant à éduquer les enfants sur les sports et l'athlétisme au Nouveau-Brunswick. Merci donc à Mt. Allison et à la ville de Tantramar d'accueillir notre 54e gala d'intronisation. Ce sera une soirée mémorable !

I’m happy to share one of my recent projects that I did for an old friend and his family’s farm in Avonport, Nova Scotia. They reached out to me wanting to update their logo and have it ready for different uses, such as printing, web, and merch. They also wanted to keep the original concept of their logo, which features the silhouette of their first bull used for breeding, who is very special to them.

I worked with them to create an updated version of their logo that is simple, elegant, and memorable, using a minimalist style and a versatile colour palette. I also created some mockups of how their logo would look on various Carhartt jackets and sweaters, which are perfect for the cold Nova Scotia weather and farm work. I chose the colours and the placements of the logo to match the style and the quality of the Carhartt brand, and to make them suitable for wear around the farm. They were very happy with the result, as was I, and I’m glad I could help them out!

Introducing Rock On! Climbing Co🗻

I am super stoked to reveal a passion project we’ve poured our hearts and souls into: "Rock On! Climbing Co." – an indoor rock climbing haven designed especially for badass women who crave adventure and empowerment.

This journey of creating a custom icon, choosing vibrant and powerful colours, and crafting meaningful typographies has been a wild ride of creativity and passion. From the initial spark of inspiration to the final brushstroke, every detail has been carefully designed to reflect the spirit of conquering new heights!

This project also included a fun challenge in the form of a mobile app – your virtual climbing partner! Designed to seamlessly book sessions, track climbing performance, and connect with other users, members can embrace vertical adventures like never before.

Oh, and the s Rock On! are building. From gear that screams "adventure addict" to sleek products that keep you ready for the next challenge, it's all about celebrating victories and forging lasting connections.

As I share this concept, I'm holding onto the hope that Rock On! Climbing Co. will come to life and inspire women to rewrite their stories one climb at a time. This journey of research, design, and creativity has been an absolute blast, and I can't wait to see where it takes them next!
