Did you play survivor and pretend you were stranded on a deserted island as a child?

This little adventure was 100% inspired by the kids, and honestly... sometimes their ideas make the best memories.

We headed to beautiful Riondel, BC with plans to capture even more of its incredible scenery, but the wildfire smoke had other plans. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this season.

The stunning emerald waters of the Bull River are a must-see for anyone exploring the East Kootenays. Fed by mountain snowmelt, this crystal-clear river winds through towering forests and rugged peaks, creating one of the region's most scenic drives.

Anglers know these waters for incredible fishing, with Westslope cutthroat trout, bull trout, rainbow trout, and mountain whitefish calling the Bull River home.
