On Page 15 of Volume 133 Issue 1 (Spring 2026) you will find a piece by Tanya Bellehumeur-Allatt titled "The Edge of the Map." 🌍

Through beautifully woven memories spanning from family canoe adventures in Quebec to navigating the lakes of the Arctic, she honors her father's legacy as a United Nations peacekeeper and a patient, quiet outdoorsman.

"The Edge of the Map" explores the silent but profound bonds between a father and daughter, the comfort found in practical gestures of care, and a cherished final birthday fishing trip they shared before his passing. It is a poignant, unforgettable meditation on grief, love, and navigating life's final thresholds.

Step into the rugged mountains of Greece with Kosta and his loyal sheepdog, Pipéri. 🐾

Feel the biting cold of early November mornings, the weight of responsibility on a young shepherd's shoulders, and the quiet strength of family bonds during hard times. "My Pipéri" is a heartfelt journey of survival, love, and hope—seen through the eyes of a ten-year-old boy who chooses courage over fear.

Join Andrew Tzembelicos as he brings this vivid story to life, reminding us all of the power of resilience and loyalty.
