Hey.

I just wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you to all of you listeners out there who believed in our bangers on 102.7 The Pole. You guys really proved that fun is still a thing and that "cookie cutter" radio formats are not all they're cracked up to be.

Honestly, when we first started this format, we thought it was just going to be a short-lived fun experiment. But we didn't see what was coming next - you all fell madly in love with us! And for that, I just want to say thank you.

We seriously considered keeping the station the same, but we didn't want to lean on the joke too long. We wanted to go out on top, like Seinfeld. But I truly believe that the music mix could be a real format, and that radio needs to be more creative.

We received positive notes from "radio people" around the world, but at the end of the day, you guys are the actual fans. So thank you for your support and for teaching me a powerful lesson about the power of radio and fun.

I know the music on 102.7 Lake FM might not be for you, but they are "bangers" for the people we did really research. And just like 102.7 The Pole, 102.7 Lake FM will be doing many things other radio stations have forgotten are important.

And I have to give a special shout-out to the crew at Suits. They are great people, and they will keep the music of 102.7 The Pole alive!

Once again, thank you all for believing in us and proving that fun is still alive and well. You guys are the best!

P.S - If I can ever get the big corporate suits in Toronto to sell me their stations in Kingston... I'm a buyer, and I promise your music will be heard!
