After many years of use and abuse of our 9 year old travel trailer, we've decided it's time to upgrade the suspension. We partnered with Scott from Simcoe Spring Service to get a MORryde suspension upgrade. We got under the trailer and he showed us the parts of the suspension system and how they work together. It turned out our suspension was in worse shape than expected. Scott showed us why and how we needed to upgraded the leaf springs, bushings and equalizers on the trailer. If you've never checked your trailer suspension, now is the time to do it.

We headed back to Rondeau Provincial Park from May 8th to the 11th, 2026. We eagerly anticipated the Festival of Flight. An annual event for birding enthusiasts. During the winter season we did several repairs, upgrades and some maintenance to our trailer which is a Coachmen Freedom Express 254DSX. We had to repair a soft floor and a soft wall as well as torn RV Underbelly Tape in the wheel wells. As part of maintenance we recaulked all around the trailer and added caulk around the windows and doors where there never was previously. We then upgraded our backsplash in the kitchen and around the door. This was done to cover up the wall repair. We also created some shelving in our bedroom by removing part of the closets on each side of the bed. Everything is now fixed and ready to go. Season 8 is here! We share with you the places we're going in 2026. We are really ambitious this year. We'll be exploring many Ontario Provincial Parks and Conservation Areas and we'll be heading out west to Alberta! The Kitchener RV Show held by Ontario Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association was March 13th - 16th, 2026. We had a great time at the RV Lifestyle Magazine booth meeting old and new friends. Our seminars gave us the opportunity to share our adventures with people in a more up close and personal way. Jax had a chance to take it all in, checking out some trailers and gear. From July 24th to August 14th, 2025 we did an 8 park trip along Ontario's Boreal Route with friends. We camped at Martin River PP, Finlayson Point PP, Esker Lakes PP, Kettle Lakes PP, Ivanhoe Lake PP, Wakami Lake PP, Halfway Lake PP and we did a day trip to Kap-Kig-Iwan PP. In our latest YouTube video we delve into the planning and preparation that goes into a trip like this, offer some tips and tricks and give some highlights of each park. The Toronto Spring Camping & RV Show & Sale was held February 26 to March 1st, 2026. We had a great time meeting everyone that came out to our daily meet and greet and also while we explored the show. Thanks to everyone that came out to our presentations and a special thanks to everyone that bought tickets to win the Citation Reward travel trailer. $80,000 was raised for the Care Camps Foundation . Also thanks to RV Lifestyle Magazine for letting us hang out at your booth. If you couldn't make it out to the show this video will give you a pretty good idea of what it was about.

It's almost ready to go. The Kitchener RV Show is this weekend at the Aud. March 13-15, 2026.
We'll be at the RV Lifestyle Magazine booth from 11:30-1:30 all 3 days so come by and say hi.
We'll be presenting, Exploring Ontario's Boreal Route by RV, on Friday and Saturday at 2:45-3:30.
On Saturday morning our video about the Toronto RV Show will be coming out on YouTube. If you weren't able to make it to any of the shows to see our presentation, don't fret. In 2 weeks we'll be posting a full video "Exploring Ontario's Boreal Route", with a lot more video content than the presentations.
