Forage Friday on a Thursday 🌱
Ostrich Fern “fiddleheads” are super yummy! You can find them along rivers and wetlands. I usually use a knife when harvesting but I was using one hand to film. They can be identified from other ferns by having a ‘V’ or ‘U’ shape stem similar to celery but smooth. Another characteristic is the brown husk as you can see in this video. Happy foraging! If you don’t know what it is don’t eat it!!!
