When I found Rollo at the shelter we learned that he became fast friends with the black lab named “Mama”. When I saw how bonded they were, I thought about it it and went back the next day to give Mama a forever home with her best buddy Rollo. This was ten years ago. Now they have 3 more dog siblings and are still besties. 💜🌲🏔️

The huskies went on a big roadtrip. Their first time in Alaska! They enjoyed Stewart/hyder. Did some creek swimming, short walks, and lots of naps. They even almost got snuck up on by a bear in our camp 😂 fun was had.

One minute they are young, agile, ready for anything. And the next they are old, slow and only happy on 2km leisurely walks. I knew this would happen one day, but I was never truly prepared for my huskies getting old🥹💜 grateful for all these years together.

Happy 11th birthday to my happy husky man. It’s been a blessing watching you grow old. This past year has been a slower season. You enjoy naps more than adventures these days. But you still get excited for a little jaunt around our beautiful home. You’re still a happy, goofy boy. You still love to scream at dogs who pass by our house. You still love digging holes. Kisses, boops, treats. Hard to believe you are 11!!!!

2026 so far! We’ve had so many adventures. In January we made the hard decision to rehome our sweet girl quill, as it was becoming evident pack life was not for her. Our pack was stressed, I was stressed. She found the best home ever and she is spoiled rotten and thriving. Our pack is way more at ease now too. We can’t wait until the sun is shining more around here 🌞 🐾
