Cellular and Business Voice Service Outage Province Wide

August 22, 2025 – SaskTel is currently experiencing a province-wide service
outage that is affecting both cellular network calls and Business Voice services. 9-
1-1 emergency calls are not affected by the current outage.
SaskTel technicians are working to resolve the outage as quickly as possible,
however there currently is no estimated time of repair.
Updates will be provided when additional information becomes available

MBC Radio is proud to once again be a sponsor of the Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival , coming up this weekend! Its a fantastic FREE festival that starts Friday night on the Main Beach with the Sunset Stage Show beginning at 5pm, featuring Brock Andrews, Sammy Lee Folkerson and The Great Fuss.
Then Saturday, the main stage at the Green Space by the community hall is packed with music from 11am to 10pm. Featuring performers like Jay Semko, Skaravan, ZHE The Free and Bombargo! Plus food and merch vendors, the FREE Kids Zone and more. Wrapping up the night is the After Party at the Terrace Gardens.
And on Sunday, the Street Fair takes place on Lakeview Drive in Waskesiu from Noon to 4pm, featuring a Car Show, food and merch vendors and the Indigenous Talent Showcase, sponsored this year by the Métis Nation—Saskatchewan , featuring Mitch Daigneault, Dakota Favel, Raven Reid, and more!
The festival has always been free, but this year it's even FREE-er (is that a word?).
There is no admission to the Prince Albert National Park, so all you need money for is shop the vendors and enjoy the food!
