What an adventure! Last minute we decided to load the kids into the car and set off on a road trip to our favorite outdoors show!
It was their first outdoor show ever! First ferry ride ever! (For our 3 youngest) and our first, but definitely not the last time meeting some of our new family at Gibbs Fishing!
A 7 am ferry followed by 2 hours of driving, and then 5 hours at the outdoors show, then 2 hours driving back to catch a 10 pm ferry that put us home, and in bed by 1am!
Would it have been easier to have someone watch the kids while we went to the show ourselves? 💯% Would the booths at the outdoor show have a lot more stickers left over? Absolutely! 😆
But including our kids in our passion for fishing and the outdoors is a top priority for us, and family adventures are hard to come by with the busy day to day life.
Would it have been easier? Yes! Would it have been us!? NO!
We're not tired, you're tired! 😂
⭐️ a huge shout out to the all of the BC Outdoors Show staff, volunteers, and exhibitors! For letting us take over your show, steal all your stickers, and allowing our children the opportunity to fall in love with the great outdoors! Every year this show gets better and better!⭐️
