The Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region (MABR) is more than a landscape, it’s a living example of how communities and conservation can thrive together. From exploring the region’s 10 Amazing Places, including ancient forests, cascading waterfalls, coastal parks and rare ecosystems, to celebrating wildlife and stewardship at the annual Brant Wildlife Festival, the MABR invites visitors to connect with the natural world in meaningful ways.
As a UNESCO biosphere reserve, the MABR continues to inspire discovery, education and conservation, creating experiences that bring people closer to the places that make Vancouver Island extraordinary.
