The Long Sault Parkway is a series of 11 islands that were created from high points of land left after the flooding of the St. Lawrence River during the construction of the Seaway in the 1950’s.

A summer student interested in part time hours (2-3 days per week with more opportunity based on skill set). We are looking for an enthusiastic student who loves spending time outdoors. This temporary position will be until mid- October 2025. Workdays would be Monday to Friday between the hours of 8AM and 6PM.

Duties and responsibilities may include
- Yard maintenance (trimming, clearing weeds, property maintenance, garbage disposal, etc)
- Perform dock checks and dock maintenance
- Clean and organize shop and property
- Assist with boat handling and operating
- Clean bathrooms and office areas
- Customer service
- Office duties
- Other duties as assigned, opportunity for mechanical work based on skill set

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school or PSE
- Possess a boating and/or driver's licence is an asset
- Able to operate small equipment and hand tools
- Must wear safety shoes or boots
- Able to swim is an asset
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Must have own transportation to work
- Be punctual, professional and dress appropriately
- Able to work independently under the supervision of marina owners
- Confident and willing to learn new skills

UPDATE- with most of our weekdays rented for the summer, we are now offering weekend rentals (2 night minimum, Thursdays to Sundays). Several weekends and holidays still available for June to September. Message us ASAP to secure your booking.

GOOD NEWS…
Currently, there are no tariffs placed on boats imported or exported from Canada.
These tariffs continue to evolve, but for now new and used boats are exempt under USMCA.
