Pont Armand-Lachaîne 🌉
Chute-Saint-Philippe, Quebec

Originally Chute-Victoria Bridge.
Renamed for the Armand-Lachaîne family who lived nearby.

Built early 1900s with Town lattice truss design.
Still standing at its original spot over Kiamika River.
Municipal heritage site since 2021.

They built it before we existed.
But they built it to last.

Through winter snow.
Through spring floods.
Through every season Canada throws.

It doesn't ask for attention.
It just stands. Shelters. Endures.
