J’ai visité ce matin l’organisme Mieux-Naître à Laval, dont les bureaux se trouvent dans Mille-Îles. Je connais bien l’organisme, les ayant supporté dans le passé dans leur démarches d’implantation à Laval, et maintien de leur services.

Mon cœur de maman en a profité pour faire le plein de bonheur, en prenant dans mes bras un tout petit bébé de 8 mois. ❤️

On the July 16th episode of the Laval Families TV Show your hosts Sammie-Line & Luigi welcome Lise Lalande from Société Alzheimer Laval and David De Cotis - Maire suppléant de la ville de Laval.

This episode is dedicated to Alzheirmer's disease specifically the valuable role of Société Alzheimer Laval in assisting people who deal with this neuro-degenerative disease.

Lise Lalande gives us an in depth explanation of what the SAL represents in Laval, the services and support it provides to all in need.

Finally David De Cotis and Lise both talk about the 3rd annual Fête du quartier Saint-Bruno taking place at parc Lausanne in Laval on Saturday August 5th and invite people to join them on this fun filled day.

Up next, our hosts welcome Joey Andraos from Zaffetna Entertainment who talks about his musical background, his upcoming shows and performs live on the set.

Next on the show is Raffaele Venturino from Passion Soccer Boutique who talks about the summer camps and summer clinics, he even challenges Sammie-Line and Luigi.

Last but not least they welcome Shaun McMahon from The Beat 92.5 who was interviewed by Lea Pereira, a student at Laval Junior Academy, one of the winners of the Laval Families Young Authors Contest 2016-2017. They all talk about their experience on this one of a kind opportunity.

The June 11th edition of the Laval Families TV Show is dedicated to the Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide. Your hosts Sammie-Line & Luigi welcome Aram Elagoz - Candidat à l'investiture - Mouvement Lavallois and Hrag Jinjinian Հրակ Չինչինեան from Comité national arménien du Québec - Armenian National Committee of Québec
They talk about the tragic persecution of the minorities in the Ottoman empire at the end of the 19th century and shed light on the first Genocide of the 20th century "The Forgotten Genocide: the Armenian Genocide" when the Ottoman empire, using WWI as an excuse, massacred, deported and starved to death more than 1 500 000 Armenians by forcing children, women and men out of their homes and lands to perish in the Syrian desert Deir Zor.

Coming back to present times, they say how this barbaric act did not serve its purpose because the Armenian people overcame this trauma, survived, persevered and thrived. They grew stronger around the world and have been fighting for the past 102 years to have official recognition from Turkey.
