Libraries are vital to the community, it isn’t just books, it is connection, a safe place, internet access, a place to gather local and beyond local news and information. The rich don’t need a library, the poor, the middle class and the disadvantaged do.

Sue's Sunday buns this week are a ginger & cinnamon bun with Rhubarb sour cream Glaze. Yumma yumma!

There are galettes, sausage rolls, parkin, brown bread, brownies, cookies, cakes and so much more!

🐾 URGENT HELP NEEDED 🐾

Our shelter’s cat washer and dog dryer have officially died, and we are desperately in need of replacements. Every day we wash countless blankets, towels, and bedding to keep the animals in our care clean, warm, and comfortable — and without working machines, it’s become incredibly difficult.

If you have a gently used washer and dryer set in good working condition that you would be willing to donate, we would be so grateful. Your support directly helps the dogs and cats at our shelter receive the care they deserve. ❤️
