returns to the CCWS final for the first time since their 2019 Championship against, yes, the OC Coyotes. competes for the ring for the 2nd time in 3 years, but will need to climb the mountain twice tomorrow as UFV remains the only undefeated team in the 2024 CCWS.

🔋⚡️The week 5 Series of the Week presented by features the travelling TRU Wolfpack as they head to Calgary to visit the UofC Dinos at Foothills Stadium⚡️🔋⁣⁣

TRU looks to stay on top of the league as they head into the weekend 11-5. With just 3 weeks remaining in the season and 3 teams within reach of taking first place, we could very well see some shifting in the standings in week 5. ⁣⁣

🔋⚡️The third Series of the Week presented by is set to take place between the Cascades and the Mariners, with games at BOTH Fairfield Island Park, and Serauxmen Stadium, as the teams each host home games on Saturday and Sunday ⚡️🔋⁣
⁣
On Saturday, the Mariners will visit the Cascades for a 2 game series before heading back to the island for a Sunday double header. ⁣
⁣
The Cascades will be hungry following last weekends 3-1 series loss against . UFV currently sits in second place in the league with a 4-4 record. ⁣
⁣
VIU sits right behind them with a 3-3 record. With both teams having to travel this weekend, and both teams sitting at .500, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top following this weekends matches. ⁣

The first Series of the Week presented by is set to take place at Fairfield Park between the always dangerous and the defending champs .

The #3 🦖 migrate south for the early season match up with the #5 UFV Cascades Baseball 🏔 for this Opening Weekend 4 game series @ Fairfield Park in Abbotsford.

Last season, the Dinos took the regular season with a 3-1 record against the Cascade.
This year, this series will be see the beginning of a new era for UFV under new Head Coach, Riley Jepson (). The Cascades' young squad will be reinforced with some familiar faces in Josh Berenbaum and Sasha Kamenjasavic, joining a strong freshman recruit class and an already existing core of players who are developing steadily every season.
The Dinos will be led by standout ace, Ethan Webster and sophomore slugger Aiden Szautner who will look to improve on a stellar .345 average as a Freshman. The Dinos will look to play composed and complete baseball against a speedy and talented bunch who found ways to scrap runs all throughout 2023.

ICYMI - We got the first 4 games of the Canadian College World Series all wrapped up!

1️⃣🐕 vs 8️⃣🌊: OC blanks the Tide 10-0 behind 6 shut out innings
2️⃣🐶 vs 7️⃣🐺: PBA walks it off against the ‘Pack in 10 on a RBI single 5-4 FINAL
3️⃣🦖vs 6️⃣🏔: UFV pushes past the Dinos behind 3 scoreless relief innings by 5-3 FINAL
4️⃣🔱 vs 5️⃣🦅: VIU veteran INF ties it in the 9th with a solo 💣 and takes it home with his own 💣 in the 10th to walk it off. 5-4 FINAL
