How many kids did you get this year for candy? Was it up from previous years or down?

We got ZERO kids despite being home all day ready to hand out candy, Lights on, decorations up.

over the weekend I was watching 'Welcome to Derry' and thought I saw the worlds lowest impact continuity error (glasses with frames that hadn't been invented yet)

Luckily I did some research and confirmed that the glasses were in fact period accurate. BUT it definitely took me out of my experience for a second. Has that ever happened to you? If so: what has taken you OUT of an experience?

Last year when I did this I finished on the original Carpenter Halloween, so this year it only makes sense to do 2007's Rob Zombie Halloween.

I think Rob Zombie is a perfectly reasonable horror director. When he's on he's REALLY on, but when he misses it's a real stinker. I think his imagining of Halloween mostly hits (although it's nowhere near as good as the original)
