Attn. CEHT and HealthRich Clients, this is an important notice from our cleint support program BenefitCare. London Drugs closes stores in Western Canada due to cyber attack.
As part of our BenefitCare program, which assists our clients with their provider needs, we are reaching out to inform you of a temporary disruption affecting London Drugs. Due to an operational issue, all London Drugs stores across Western Canada are currently closed until further notice.
London Drugs has reported that this closure is a result of a cybersecurity incident. They have assured the public that they are taking all necessary measures, including working with cybersecurity experts, to address the situation promptly and ensure the safety of their customers and employees. While there is no indication of customer or employee data compromise, London Drugs is actively conducting a thorough investigation to ensure the incident is resolved effectively.
During this closure, London Drugs pharmacists remain available to assist with urgent pharmacy needs. We recommend contacting your local store’s pharmacy directly for any necessary arrangements.
