I have been attending concerts since 1976. Bush ranks in my top 5 all time shows. Bush has done some very good work in the studio, but bands have a producer and time to get their sound just right. With a live show, it takes real talent to pull it off if you use minimal pre-recorded effects. Bush is a great live act. Raw energy and excellent musicianship coupled with Gavin's excellent vocals make their live show hard to top. I regularly play Bush on my radio show as their hits still sound fresh after 30 years - and Gavin still has the unique vocal sound and range that he had with the release of Sixteen Stone. Previewing their upcoming album due in July, we know there is at least one song we will want to add to our playlists:) With a 17 song show, including Gavin running through the arena unescorted and singing with full energy -- you have to admire his style and his connection to Bush fans. It's also rare to hear a lead singer also play the guitar, sharing lead role. Every band member played with incredible energy and precision. I am so pleased I finally experienced a live Bush show, but I wish I had done this years ago. If you have the chance, this is a MUST SEE/HEAR event.
