Sneak Preview! The December Wortley Villager is at the printer now, expected in mailboxes and at local venues early December. We feature the Old South Business Awards, Old South Community Organization's OSCOR award winner, Mario Circelli, Chris Trowell, a Christmas cookie recipe from German Canadian Club staffer Jonathan Gijzen, a two-fer from J. Bruce Parker (Jason Rip and Dave Semple) and congratulate local teens on creating a board game called 'American Dictator'. (It can be purchased at e-upgames.com).

In mailboxes and local venues next week, and online now...your September Wortley Villager! In it, Bruce Parker asks villagers what they think is the best thing about Wortley Village, and covers the The Wortley Jazz and Blues festival. We meet four Old South high school students who are participating in the Grand Theatre's 2025 High School Project and feature actor/director Dinah Watts. Skylar Franke provides an update on Rosel Park that was current when the magazine went to press: our online version has a happy update! Lots more! Enjoy!

Sneak preview: The September Wortley Villager is going to press today. In it, Bruce Parker asks locals what they like most about the village, and covers the Wortley Jazz and Blues Festival. We meet some Old South students participating in the Grand Theatre's High School Project and revel in local church gardens. We congratulate George Beardshaw on his 102nd birthday and lots more!
