I tried to play the game today — you know, the perfect selfie game.
📱 Angle the phone. 💁‍♀️ Smooth the hair. 💨 Suck it in.
And still… my first thought was, ‘ugh, delete.’
But then I caught myself.
I am not 25. I am not filtered perfection.
I am a woman who has lived — through ❤️ love, 💔 loss, 🤣 belly laughs, 😴 sleepless nights, heartbreak, healing, and all the messy middle.
So here she is — bumps, lumps, wrinkles, curves and all.
✨ Choosing to love this version of me out loud, because she deserves it. 💛

Father’s Day is loud with love for some.
But for others, it’s a quiet ache.

Not every child grows up wrapped in a father’s protection.
Some grow up learning to navigate the world without it —
to interpret silence, survive criticism, and mistake pain for love.

There was a little girl once — smiling wide in a big leather chair,
already carrying a spirit too big to be broken.
She longed to be seen, to be told she was beautiful.
But the words she heard chipped away instead of building her up.

And still… she rose.

She stopped asking why he couldn’t love her the way she needed.
She forgave — not because he earned it, but because she deserved peace.
She stopped chasing approval and started becoming the woman she needed.
And in the silence, she began to feel held by something higher —
God, the universe, a quiet presence that never left.

To anyone navigating this day with mixed emotions —
whether it’s your first Father’s Day without your dad,
whether your father is sick, absent, or deeply missed,
or whether your heart holds both gratitude and grief —

You’re not alone.
There’s room for your story, too.

My heart is full 💜
After a powerful day of RAW Reviews, I paused—to reflect, breathe, and receive.

Receiving hasn’t always been easy for me. I’m the giver, the doer, the one who pours out. But today reminded me: just as I find joy in giving, so do others. And by learning to receive with grace, I honour their offering too.
