المتنبي للكتاب العربي.
ضمن برنامج أيام الثقافة العراقية تدعوكم الجمعية العراقية الكندية لحضور معرض شارع المتنبي للكتاب العربي في مسيساغا الذي تشارك فيه مكتبات ودور نشر عربية/كندية.
معاً نحتفي بالكتاب لأن أول حرفٍ خُط في سطور التأريخ كانت بلادنا مهده، ولأن بغداد كانت حاضرة العالم ومشكاة العلم والمعرفة في العصر العباسي، نحتفي بالكتاب لأنه مرآة الحضارة، وأداة تنوير للعقول، وكنزٌ الشعوب الثقافي الذي ألهم البشرية وساهم في تقدمها، وسيبقى جسرًا يصل الماضي بالحاضر والمستقبل مهما تطورت العلوم والتكنولوجيا.

Together, we celebrate the book a timeless symbol of knowledge and culture, because our homeland was the birth place to the first written script in human history, cuneiform, and in its golden age, Baghdad stood as a beacon of science, literature, and learning.
We honour the book as a mirror of civilization, a light for the human mind, and a cultural treasure that has inspired humanity and shaped its progress.
No matter how technology evolves, the book will remain the bridge that connects our past, enriches our present, and guides us into the future.
