Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of wearing ALL the hats for Alyssa & Tyler’s beautiful wedding at Maple Haven. 🤍

Coordination. Content creation. DJ & MC.

From keeping the day flowing behind the scenes, capturing all those little in-between moments, to packing the dance floor at the end of the night we truly got to experience every part of their day, and what a day it was.

The biggest reminder that weddings are never a one-person show. We had the privilege of working alongside SO many incredible vendors who all brought their own magic and worked together to give Alyssa & Tyler the day they deserved.

Today we’re out doing something that means a little extra. 🤍

DJ Hernandez is spending the day supporting the Women’s Rural Resource Centre (WRRC) at their Rural Family & Friends Well-Being Event a completely FREE day bringing families and our rural communities together.

Knowing the incredible work WRRC does for women and children in our community makes being part of today that much more meaningful.

Music from us from 10AM–4PM, followed by live music from 4–6PM! 🎶

Over 250 families attended last year, and we’re so grateful to play even a small part in creating a fun, safe and welcoming day for everyone.

Community supporting community. That’s what it’s all about. 🤎

Can I be real about something?

Being a DJ looks pretty damn fun on Instagram/Facebook. 😂

And it is.

But what you guys see is usually the reward… not everything it took to get there.

You don’t see the hours of preparation.
The loading.
The unloading.
The missed weekends.
The late nights.
Or those drives home at 3AM when the adrenaline finally wears off and you realize how exhausted you actually are.

Then somehow, a few hours later, you’re already thinking about the next one.

That’s what loving something does to you.

It can drain you and fill you back up at the exact same time.

And every time I see a dance floor full of people making memories together, I remember why I keep choosing this.

So whatever you’re building…

don’t let the hard days convince you that you chose the wrong dream.

Sometimes the things worth doing just ask a little more from us.
