Nuit Blache, Doors Open London and oh so much more in this week calendar 🗓️

London has so much to offer this week and I hope you can make it to at least one thing 🫶🏽

This week’s featured event is Art Market, run by one of my best friends and creative ball of energy o.heyitskay

Art market is the perfect place to explore local creations and connect with other creative minds in a space curated for collaboration and inspiration 🫟🎨

A special mention goes to Doors Open London, a great way to explore iconic landmarks, understand more about what this city has to offer and just have an incredible weekend full of activities and sightseeing ⚡️

I’m currently on my 8th day of working in a row (because as my mom taught me “the one that doesn’t work doesn’t eat”) and while that’s taking a good chunk of my time, I love to put this calendars together and bring you some special coverage to the occasional visit to an event, show or cool place 🫶🏽 so please let me know if you have any comments on what you will like to see or how I can improve 🌸

Alright, that’s all, see you on the next post!

Hello hello 👋🏼 and welcome to the second week of September 🍁

Summer might be over, but there’s still plenty to do this week in London

This week’s featured event is A/V Nights 1 📺

An audiovisual experience presented by Bluheron and co presented by Nuit Blanche London.
This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in interactive exhibitions, check out interesting presentations and get a feel for what’s to come for Nuit Blanche.

On a personal note, it’s a new season of life for me and as I adjust to it, you might not get as much content as usual, but I’ll still try my best to bring you accessible community, art and culture events in the city 🌃

See you in the next post!

Happy last quarter of the year 🫨 where has this year gone?

This week’s featured event is Tiny Fest 🎶

London has such a rich music scene and I will always support spaces that uplift local and regional musicians and share their art with our community.

I’m out and about all the time, but I certainly need to get to know more about the communities in our city, so I need your help!
What is a community, event or group that you feel it helps you connect with the city and cultivate your passions? Let’s share them with others! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

👒 Time to trade the sun hats for light jackets !🧥
This week calendar brings you a nice selection of outdoor events, music for everyone and lost of fun in this last hurrah to summer.

This week’s featured event is Spicy Trivia 🌶️

Q***r S*x Educator Jess is always bringing new info and perspectives to the community about the education we should all had access to in highschool, but with fun prizes for you to put your knowledge to the test.

I personally love Jess because of their ability to make this information inclusive for everyone in the community, whether you are q***r, learning about the different ways to play or exploring how to communicate consent safely, this is more than a game: it’s a classroom 🧑‍🏫

On super small side note, my bday is this week! If you see me around in town, make sure to say hi to this young looking old lady 👵

What are you excited about for this week? Leave it in the comments ⤵️

Hello hello and welcome to another calendar!
It’s so bizarre that summer is almost over, but the leaves are starting to change, my allergies are finally getting better and my bday is next week 🥂

This week’s feature event is Skate and Bounce 🪩

Oasis programming is all about fostering community and connection, and there’s no better way to connect with others than dancing the night away 💃🏽🕺

I hope you are ready for the end of August (I’m not) and good luck to all of those going back to school soon!

A late start to the week, a mixed variety of events and an important message 🇵🇸

This week’s featured event is United in Support Of Gaza.

As a content creator, I limit myself on how I share my view about the suffering happening in the world because playing this wicked number games always involve stirring away from hard topics and censored content.

While I haven’t been the most outspoken ally, I want to share with you the efforts that advocates in our community are doing to support the people suffering in Gaza at this mask-required event 😷

You have my love and gratitude for a new week of events and hopefully see you out in the wild during this community offerings 💖

I’m back with a sappy message to celebrate a year of Local Voices and your usual weekly calendar 🌸

This week’s featured event is the City Of Music Concert Series, this week’s featured presented by the Punk Rock Flea Market ⚡️

PRFM is the event that kicked off my love for local event and really gave me a sense of community when I finished college and I was feeling isolated.
This is the last concert presented by PRFM and I’m sure it will be one to remember.

If you made it this far into the caption and read my message at the end, thank you for validating this passion of project. I feel so privileged of being able to connect my community with liked minded people.

See you in the next post 💖 and if you can, leave me a message with how you discovered this page 👀

Hey everyone! Your local activity connoisseur is taking a small break to recharge (mostly regulate my overstimulated brain), take care of regular life shenanigans and preparing a couple surprises for our 1k followers milestone 🥹

I hope you have a lovely rest of your week and if you are looking for things to do this week, I strongly recommended you check in with your neighbourhood groups, downtown London, Dundas place and your favourite third spaces social media.

With much love and appreciation,
Nini 🌸
