two comic legends, five favourite picks each, and one big conversation. heroes comics’ brahm wiseman and graphic novelist scott chantler are going head to head at tap centre for creativity and you get to be in the room. free and open to all!!

is hosting their backyard social on may 25th from 5-9pm and honestly it’s one of those events I just had to share. this place is one of my favourites in the city and if you’ve never been, this is the perfect excuse to finally go 🫶

Do you wanna rock?! 🎸 We have two big anniversaries for outstanding community organizations and a big closing for a month-long programming 🫶🏽

I’m a sucker for all things punk rock flea market, and I know there’s an activation going on for Ting so make sure you check both of those out.

There’s something really special about watching someone cook with that much care and intention 🍕

We went to a cooking demonstration at and honestly? It felt like the most romantic date night we’ve had in a while.

They made everything from scratch: sourdough pizza, fresh mozzarella, espresso and Reese’s ice cream with toffee. Just watching the process made it taste even better.

Chef Jason and Chef Bob walk you through every technique, you get to enjoy the food with a drink, and you leave with the recipes.

It’s the kind of experience that reminds you why supporting local matters. The passion these people put into their craft and their space is something you can genuinely taste.
