Severe Thunderstorm Watch: 11h10 AM- Easterm Hour

This afternoon and early this evening, conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. There is also a slight risk of a tornado.

Nautical activities may be hazardous due to sudden, severe wind gusts over bodies of water.

Utility outages are possible.

Be prepared for severe weather. If threatening weather approaches, take cover in a basement or interior room. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail. When thunder roars, go indoors! Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year.
