A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed to making East Coast Creatives Journal as incredible as it has been this past year. A special shout-out to these four amazing women in particular, my unofficial dream team of content creators who pour their talent into every single issue. I couldn’t do it without you. With you, it’s truly something special. 🙏🏻

I never force the journal to be anything it’s not; it evolves organically, and I wouldn’t change a thing about that journey. The latest print run for our current fall issue is nearly sold out already, a beautiful sign of steady, authentic growth. I’m confident 2026 will bring even more of the same, and I can’t wait to share the extraordinary work you all continue to create with the world. 🤍🤍🤍

Dear friends,

I’ve been on the phone with the printer for most of the day, fingers crossed that my contact can make some real progress. Right now, it sounds like the ducks aren’t quite all in a row on their end.

I was really hoping everything would reach you in time for Christmas, we’ll see what she comes back with soon.

The second the package lands at my door, they’ll be straight into the mailboxes and on their way to you!

I’ve just made a few final tweaks (some more major changes) to some of the pages before sending everything off for the big batch print. Seeing the test print in person is always crucial. It lets me revisit anything I wasn’t completely sure about on screen. Now, honestly, I think this issue is as close to perfect as it could possibly be, and I’m so happy and relieved to be shipping it out to all of you on December 8th!

I’ve also included the refined Editor’s Letter below. Putting this issue together has been such an emotional ride, and I truly hope I’ve done it justice.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who contributed and to everyone who’s been coming along for this journey with me. ❤️

The past few weeks have been so heavy, and I’ve rearranged my plans for the fall issue, in time to read it out loud, dedicating it to my beautiful friend Jill. I’ll forever miss the way her face lit up with that perfect smile whenever she saw me. She saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. And I want the world to see her exactly how I saw her through the pages of this magazine.

Rest easy my beautiful sweet angel. I have been so lucky to know you. ❤️
