Sinclair Inn Museum

Built around 1710, the Sinclair Inn Museum is one of Canada’s oldest surviving wooden buildings and a rare window into Annapolis Royal’s colonial past. Over three centuries, its walls have witnessed countless stories, from early settlers to generations of innkeepers and travelers.

While its history is well documented, local legend tells of unexplained footsteps, cold spots, and an unsettling feeling that someone else is present. Visitors and staff have occasionally reported strange occurrences that defy easy explanation, adding another chapter to the inn’s long and mysterious past.
