Dear CBFM listeners and social media followers that can still see our posts.

We love you all so much and thank you for following us everyday as we keep you updated on news and local traditional events like square dances, ceilidhs and concerts.

As much as we don’t want to do this, we have decided to put a hold on our Facebook and Instagram operations for the time being because of Bill C-18, also known as the Online News Act.

Because of Bill C-18, more and more people can’t see our posts anymore.

We hope Meta and the Government of Canada can come together quickly and make an agreement.

If you would like to continue to receive updates on local events and what’s happening, I highly encourage you listen in here: https://www.cbfm.ca

We will also continue to post local news stories on our website and will look at options like X (formerly Twitter) to continue to keep you updated.
