Calgary has launched the Wave Tech Centre, an innovation hub focused on exploring emerging technologies and enhancing municipal services utilizing ATSC 3.0 technology. One of the centre's pioneering projects, in collaboration with Humber Polytechnic's Broadcast-Broadband Convergence Lab (B2C), is Canada’s first ATSC 3.0 Smart City initiative.
