- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Currently registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics as a Primary Care Paramedic (P*P) or an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP)
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) Certification is required.
- Medically and physically fit to perform all the duties of this position on an ongoing basis. A Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) is required.
- Clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector search
- Valid Alberta Class 4 driver’s licence—or Class 3 with Q endorsement (or equivalent)

As a Firefighter Cadet, you’ll complete both NFPA 1001 Level 1 and Level 2 certifications while working for Regional Emergency Services.
