Thunder Bay is recruiting an experienced and forward-thinking IT executive to lead the City’s digital transformation, oversee corporate IT strategy, and guide the Corporate Information Technology Division.

Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services, the Director will provide strategic leadership, strengthen governance, and foster innovation across all technology functions.

✅ Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration with at least 7 years of progressive IT leadership experience (or equivalent combination with diploma + 12 years).
- Proven experience overseeing IT strategy, cybersecurity, business continuity, asset lifecycle management, and enterprise IT governance.
- Strong leadership background within a large, complex, unionized organization, ideally in the public or municipal sector.
- Knowledge of legislation governing municipal IT operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in business management, planning, budgets, and process optimization.

💰 Compensation: $147,473 – $173,498 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension plan, health and dental coverage, paid vacation and holidays, EFAP access, leadership development, and wellness programs.
