It’s been a hot minute since I made and decorated a cake… and I have to say, it felt pretty sweet to be creating again. 🎂♥️♠️

Today I had the privilege of honouring my Dad and sharing this Father’s Day cake with the fathers at our Cumberland Villas celebration.

Even better, I was able to spend time creating with a friend — laughing, decorating, and enjoying community in action.

There’s something special about creating something with your hands — not for perfection, but for joy, love, and blessing someone else.

So now I’m curious…

This line has been sitting with me today:

“When you lead from a place of authenticity, you give others permission to do the same.”

What a beautiful reminder that leadership doesn’t require us to be perfect, polished, or pretending.

God designed each of us with a unique voice, story, and way of reflecting His love. When we lead from that honest place, we create space for others to show up honestly too.

So often we think creativity belongs only to artists, but it is also expressed in how we lead, encourage, problem-solve, and build others up. Every woman who leads does so creatively—whether she realizes it or not.

The same Holy Spirit who brings wisdom, beauty, and order is at work in you.

💙 Your leadership is not accidental.
💙 It is divinely inspired.
💙 It is connected to God’s creative heart.

Be still… and know.

Sometimes creativity doesn’t begin with doing. Sometimes it begins with slowing down enough to listen again.

The Holy Spirit still speaks in quiet places.
Through Scripture.
Through beauty.
Through stillness.
Through simple moments of surrender.

✨ Maybe today isn’t about striving harder. Maybe it’s about making space.

The Samaritan Woman came to the well carrying shame, isolation, and questions.

She left seen. Known. Restored.

And then she went back into her community carrying Living Water. That encounter changed everything.

✨ Identity restored always overflows outward.

I think many women today are still standing at wells— tired, uncertain, longing to be fully seen.

And Jesus still meets people there. Not with condemnation. But invitation.
