🔥 From CAD to Cut Steel & Aluminum

There’s a lot more that goes into plasma cutting than just striking an arc.

Before the FastCut CNC G7 ever starts cutting, the part begins as a CAD drawing. Every hole, angle, radius and dimension has to be designed and programmed correctly so the finished part comes out exactly as intended.

Once the design is ready, the G7 FastCut takes over, using CNC-controlled plasma cutting to turn those digital designs into precise steel parts. The combination of good CAD work, proper programming and accurate machine control allows for repeatable cuts and clean, detailed parts.

It’s pretty cool to watch a part go from an idea on a computer screen to a finished piece of steel. ⚙️🔥

One of those Haydays moments you don’t forget! 🤘

We had the chance to catch up and chat with **Blair Morgan **, one of the legends of snowcross racing.

Back in the ’90s, Blair was part of **Team Arctic Cat**, and he was a huge part of what made snowcross so exciting to watch. The speed, the style, the competition, and that unmistakable flying through the track made for some unforgettable racing!

It was awesome to run into Blair again at the **Ski-Doo booth at Haydays** and have a chance to talk sleds, racing, and the sport we all love.

Some people leave a mark on a sport, and Blair definitely did. 🏁❄️

🔥🏁 GRASS DRAGS AT HAY DAYS! 🏁🔥

There’s nothing quite like the sound of sleds wide open on the grass at Hay Days! From the launch off the line to the roar of the engines down the track, the grass racing is a huge part of what makes Hay Days such an incredible kickoff to winter.

The competition is fierce, the sleds are dialed in, and the passion for this sport is on full display. Watching these machines get absolutely hammered down the track is enough to get anyone counting the days until snow hits the mountains! ❄️🤘

Hay Days delivers the whole package, and the grass racing is definitely one of the highlights!

We made the trip to Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and got an inside look at the Arctic Cat factory to see how these machines come together from the production floor to the finished sled.

Getting to walk through the factory and see the different stages of the build was pretty special, especially being brand loyal to Arctic Cat. Seeing the Bearcats on the line, watching components being prepped and assembled, and getting a better understanding of just how much goes into building a snowmobile gives you a whole new appreciation for the machines we ride.

And then there was the race track. 🏁

Getting out there, seeing the track firsthand, and chatting with one of the Arctic Cat riders who shares that same passion for the brand and going fast was a highlight of the trip. That kind of passion is what makes this sport so much fun.

From the factory floor to the race track to Hay Days itself, this was one heck of a trip. A whole lot of snowmobile content coming your way.
