The community is stepping up in a big way for Miramichi Christmas Joy!

TURKEY DRIVE UPDATE — MIRAMICHI CHRISTMAS JOY PROGRAM 🎄 The community has rallied - and we’ve officially passed 100 turkeys donated for this year’s Christmas Joy Program!

This is a tremendous step toward ensuring families across Miramichi can enjoy a full Christmas dinner, and we are so grateful for everyone who has contributed so far.

Turkey donation cut-off is December 15th, so there’s still time to help us push even closer to our goal of 250.

A special thank-you goes to Miramichi Meat Ltd., who continue to be an incredible partner by providing freezer space and making it easy for anyone to donate.

You can support the drive in two simple ways:

1 — Drop off a turkey at Miramichi Meat Ltd.
Buy one at any grocery store and bring it to them — they’ll take care of the storage.

2 — Purchase a turkey directly from Miramichi Meats
Quick, convenient, and supports a local business while helping a local family.

Every turkey adds up, and momentum is growing.
Let’s keep pushing, Miramichi — we know we can reach 250!🎄

The Miramichi Police Force is advising motorists to use extra caution this morning. Overnight snowfall has created poor and slippery road conditions. Crews are out, but many areas remain snow-covered and slick.

Please slow down, allow extra stopping distance, and give yourself additional travel time.
