Ive been deep in focus mode the past few weeks and it all started here.
Earlier this month I won a VIP ticket to the “Big Brand Energy Session” with
I had no idea who she was, what the event was or if it was even going to be right for me. I actually even considered NOT going but decided I “wouldn’t know if I didn’t go”
So I headed out to Fort Langley for the event kickoff, a VIP brunch with a room full of women I did not know (and a dress code I decided not to follow 🫣)
Not gonna lie, I kinda had my guard up as I walked into the room. I was nervous, unsure, feeling imposter syndrome. But I sat and listened as each of the women spoke about their businesses and what their big dream was.
I was fired up. And somehow…in that moment when it was my turn to speak about my business, something that I’ve had so much trouble putting into a succinct explanation suddenly became so clear. I do social media & digital marketing for the brands who are ready to push the boundary, play outside the box and ruffle some feathers. And I LOVE inviting women into male dominated spaces.
Anyways, I walked out of there refreshed, invigorated and excited for the main event of Big Brand Energy session the following week. I felt like I had gained so much in a couple hours, made some wicked connections and wondered…how could I get any more from this event next week? What else is left?
Well…there was a whole bucket of MORE coming my way at the main event. Which I’ll share about another time 😏
