Over the next little while, I'll be taking you behind the scenes of a brand-new local business called Solara RV Rentals.

What interests me isn't just the RV. It's the challenge of building something from the ground up and seeing what actually works. The branding, the marketing, the customer experience, the mistakes, the pivots, and all the little decisions that eventually become a real business.

I'll be documenting the journey along the way, because I know a lot of people are curious about what really happens behind the scenes when an idea turns into something real.
Let's see where this adventure takes us.

Over the last little while, I’ve been paying closer attention to the restaurant experience around Mission. Not just the food or the social media. I am observing "the feeling" people leave with after they walk out the door.

In my opinion, a lot of restaurants don’t actually have a marketing problem. They have little 'disconnects' happening throughout the customer experience that slowly chip away at how people feel about the place over time.
>> The atmosphere feels sligthly tired. The energy of the entire environment may drop after the food arrives.
>> Customers stop feeling looked after in small ways that are hard to explain, but easy to feel.

The hard part is that marketing can’t really cover that up anymore. You can bring people in once with good photos, ads, or social media. But if the experience underneath isn’t strong, people stop coming back.

That’s a big part of what I’ve been researching while building this restaurant report for Mission. I am not focusing on “how to get more likes.” It is not a standard marketing approach.

More to come!

Most people don’t realize where they’re losing customers. It’s not one big thing. It’s everything they stopped noticing.

That’s exactly what I pay attention to at Inside The Cart.

I got this message after we completed a project. The part that stuck with me wasn’t even about marketing. It was this feeling of being overwhelmed… like you have so many things you could do, but no clear sense of what actually matters.

People aren’t stuck because they’re lazy or inconsistent. They’re just… carrying too much at once.

Trying to figure it out alone.

Someday, things start making sense again.

Got my business cards today! They’re nice, but not quite the paper quality I want, so round two is already in the works. Learning as I go. 😀

New cards just landed.
(It took a while till I was happy with my design)

I have been working behind the scenes on something bigger — studying local businesses, patterns, what’s working, and what’s being missed.

If you run a business in Mission, BC, and feel like there’s more potential sitting on the table… I see it, and I’m starting conversations.

I’ve noticed something lately.

Marketing isn’t rare anymore, as many tools are accessible, and templates are everywhere. But here’s the difference. Most marketing focuses on output, while I focus on identity.

When I say I’m soul-led, I don’t mean emotional or mystical. When we meet, I ask:
-Why did you build your business?
-What does it actually stand for?
-Where did it drift?

Because if that part isn’t clear, no strategy will fix it. The fact is, anyone can produce content, but not everyone can establish a business identity. That’s the lane I’m in 😉

I don’t post just to stay active. If I’m quiet on my social media, it usually means I’m deep in client work and building things that take time and patience. In my opinion, visibility can be easy. Ex*****on takes focus, and I have been choosing to stay as close to my projects as possible.

But things are about to change as I implemented additional structures in my business. 😉
