Just a few short years ago, I moved to a town I’d never been to and knew no one. Turning my builder grade house into a home became my favourite hobby, and it wasn’t long before I started to wonder- what if I could do this every day?

Thanks to a few amazing small biz owners who saw the vision for made design studio long before I did, we are *actually* growing towards that, which still feels a bit surreal.

Thank you for welcoming both me and this little business of mine with open arms. I am so excited for the spaces we will tackle together next. 🧺

I was recently asked if I had any design regrets and ripping up my hardwoods is easily my biggest one 🥲 If I could go back in time, I would tell myself what I always tell my clients.

“Live in this house for six months, a year, as long as you can before making any big decisions. The way you think you will live in this house and the way you actually live here will likely differ.”

It always ends up being more money, time, and effort to fix rushed decisions.

Having patience and saving money to do the renovation you want, not the renovation that’s cheapest, is sooo hard. But it’s incredibly worth the wait.
