We’re so excited to be part of the Likkle Jamaica Vendor Event tomorrow! 🎉 (Eglington West)

If you’ve ever been to Jamaica, have Jamaican friends or family, love reggae, crave jerk chicken, or just want to feel that island vibe right here in Toronto, this is the place to be!

🕐 Saturday | 1 PM – 11 PM
📍 Eglinton West

This isn’t just a market, it’s a full-on celebration of community, culture, and giving back. 💛 We’re also collecting toys and donations to support families in Jamaica following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.

Come out, bring your friends and family, dress warm, and enjoy great food, music, vibes, and shopping from amazing local vendors. The Zou Zou Media House Bookmobile will also be there so make sure to stop by and say hello!

We’re more than a publisher. We’re building a movement through our Bookmobile, a travelling arts and culture hub that brings diverse Canadian stories to life! This summer, we connected with communities, schools, and festivals, sharing books, music, and dance while spotlighting underrepresented authors.

We’ll continue serving the community until December, with a short return in February, and a full-time relaunch in April 2026.

So here’s the thing—I was trying to pick ONE picture to post today… and somehow ended up creating a whole montage (“because I can” thank you for the reminder 😅)
Going through them reminded me of what people used to say back in high school: “You’re always changing your hair!” Guess that habit stuck.

But more seriously, birthdays always make me reflect. I think about where I’ve been, how far I’ve come, and where I’m still going. I’ve always been goal-oriented. Sometimes I hit the mark, sometimes I miss, and sometimes things just take longer than expected. But through it all, I remain thankful.

I enter this year with gratitude—for life, for health, for purpose, and for the people who’ve shown up along the way. My dream (even if it sounds like a six-year-old’s wish) is still for the world to be a better place, and I’ll keep striving toward that.

To God, my family, my friends, and every supporter who encourages me—I thank you. 💛 Cheers to another trip around the sun. 🥂
