As I enter the last big push with Q4 projects, life has reminded me to pause & reflect on a groundbreaking year of songwriting/production and most importantly, connection! Being a self taught late bloomer, it never ceases to amaze me when I find myself in the same room as the most talented people on Earth. 20 years of playing in bands and writing original music, including 12+ years of engineering producing and mixing songs daily, Ive now become my own version of the scene I wished I was a part of as an immigrant athlete emo boy who secretly worshipped bands like Deftones, Incubus, Tool, RATM, Nirvana, Silverchair, Paramore. I’ve truly had to be delusional to believe I could do it, the way I’ve done it, and stay disciplined enough to prove it with the warmth, protection and intuition I channel from the source. Staying grounded and consistent, honouring boundaries/self respect and maintaining future focused, purpose driven actions has helped earn people’s trust and respect to invest their time money and genuine love into what I do. I’ve failed a lot to get here and have 0 shame or fear to fail more as long as I fail forward and continue to earn the right to say I’m Not Who I Used To Be.
