YES!! The special bronze Maple Leaf has been found! 🤘🎉

The Codiac Regional RCMP has recovered the bronze maple leaf from the Honour Garden (RCMP monument) that was reported stolen in August 2026.

On September 27, 2026, at approximately 9 p.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP received information indicating that an individual was believed to be in possession of the stolen memorial leaf.

On September 28, 2026, as part of the ongoing investigation, members of the Codiac Regional RCMP Crime Reduction Unit's Property Crime Team and Priority Offender Team arrested a 46-year-old man at a business on Edinburgh Drive in Moncton. Investigators had obtained evidence indicating that the man was in possession of the stolen bronze maple leaf.

Police subsequently executed a search warrant at a residence on Church Street in Moncton, where they recovered the missing bronze maple leaf. The bronze maple leaf was recovered damaged but is currently being assessed.

"We are relieved that this important memorial item has been recovered" says Cpl. Luc Picard of the Codiac Regional RCMP. "This outcome is the result of information received from the public and the dedicated work of our investigators, particularly members of our Crime Reduction Unit's Property Crime Team. This investigation demonstrates the value of timely information from the public and the effectiveness of targeted policing initiatives in addressing property crime in our communities. We would like to thank everyone who assisted in this investigation."

The investigation is ongoing.

Roger Waters and Son Harry Launch New Pink Floyd Tribute Tour
Fans of Pink Floyd will have a chance to hear some of the band’s best-known music performed live in a new production created by Roger Waters and led by his son, Harry Waters.
AEG Presents and ICON LIVE have announced Roger Waters Presents: LEGACY – A Pink Floyd Show, an extensive North American and European tour set to begin February 15, 2027. The production will feature a 10-piece band performing music from Pink Floyd’s classic era, including songs from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall.
Organizers say the show will combine faithful recreations of the original recordings with large-scale LED visuals inspired by imagery created during Roger Waters’ years with the band.
Harry Waters, who spent more than 15 years touring alongside his father, will serve as musical director while performing on piano, organ and vocals. He says the goal is to recreate the classic albums as closely as possible while introducing the music to a new generation of fans.
The tour includes four Canadian stops announced so far: Windsor on March 13, Orillia on April 23, Ottawa on April 24 and Vancouver on August 31.
A Canadian connection can also be found in the band’s lead vocalist. Organizers say Nashville-based singer Clifton David Broadbridge, originally from Canada, was selected after a worldwide audition search that drew more than 3,000 submissions.
Tickets for North American dates go on sale October 2, with additional European dates expected to be announced in the coming months. For more information, fans can visit RogerWatersLegacy.com.
