To support development, BCP has built a process that helps writers get scripts done and through US coverage in about half the time. BCP’s innovative financing process allows us to create additional income streams. Jayne Belliveau has developed films that have enjoyed global success. These include Love The Hard Way, starring Adrien Brody (Sundance Film Festival, nomination for top German producing award); Kung Fu Elliot (Winner Grand Jury Prize Slamdance, sold to Neon, Mongrel, Amazon and Netflix); Two Deaths of Henry Baker (sold out globally); and The Briefcase (received seven digit offers and interest from a top US studio). Prior to establishing BCP Belliveau worked for a global media fund in Europe that financed and managed a $100 million per annum portfolio of films and TV shows. Films include the Oscar winning Bowling For Columbine and Love The Hard Way. Our creative teams and producers are located around the world, allowing us to capture global trends as they go mainstream.

The newly formed department, led by NBA and Disney veteran Libby Bush, is on hunt for new sources of production financing with IP in mind.

Jayne Belliveau first two projects Love The Hard Way starring Adrien Brody and Kung Fu Elliot accentuate her signature style. Both won top international awards and sold out globally.
Love The Hard Way screened in competition at the Sundance, Berlin and Locarno film festivals and was nominated for the German producing Oscar. KUNG FU ELLIOT (Winner Slamdance) was released theatrically by top boutique distributors in the US (The Orchard/NEON) and Canada (Mongrel). Amazon purchased the OTT rights in the US, while Netflix acquired international rights.
She has three film projects in development with a top Canadian distributor and world sales agent and was recently hired to write a screenplay for producer Dominique Seguin (RACE, DALLAS BUYERS CLUB) and Stefano Dammicco (Founder Of Eagle Pictures Spa, Italy – released TOMB RAIDER, MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA, etc.). She is also working with Oscar nominated Marcelo Mitnik as well as producer Josh Mandel, whose film Thirst Street screened at the Venice International Film Festival.
She recently won a feature film-writing contract for a talent agent who has represented Olympic medallists by beating out twenty-five other writers. Some of whom had written for A-list stars.
A BRIEFCASE OF TIME, a feature film she designed and is producing, has interest from a major specialty label and has received multi-million dollar pre-sale offers.
Another screenplay she wrote ranked in the top 1% of screenplays submitted to the Sundance Screenwriters’ Lab. The lab took 12 – hers was number 13.
Jayne has written for Denny’s Restaurants, Better Mobile (clients include Coca Cola, P&G, Microsoft), SOGGI G a NY based interior design firm (projects up to 250 units) as well as numerous global start ups.
Belliveau recognizes design is a painstaking process, but a rewarding one. She trusts her training. She graduated with honours from UCLA’s Department of Film and Television (MFA). Her story mentor, Meg LeFauve was recently nominated for an Oscar (Inside Out).
Prior to enrolling at UCLA, she was far too curious to stay put so she figured out a way to get a job abroad. Right place, right time, she ended up working for a budding European media fund and eventually became an international project manager on BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE (Oscar Winner), then championed and helped produce the film LOVE THE HARD WAY starring Adrien Brody.
