Hey good creative film people. I am trying to get a project off the ground and thus I have created an ANIMATIC of the project. I would love to get experienced feedback on it (not technical feedback, since this is only an ANIMATIC). The idea is to get input as spectators on: Does it work? Does it tell a story entirely and understood? and anything that you pros and amateurs could provide as feedback on how to improve the experience of it...

A writer in need of divine inspiration seeks the unusual help of a criminal to help inspire the next best seller. The initial plan seems to be working until the line between right and wrong gets anxiously erased.

Roles to fill
DANNY (The publisher)
Danny a 50-60yo male with lots of character and charisma, both physically and in his presence *energy*. He is a self-centered, unscrupulous Montreal small-time publisher who embraces his tactics as a former car salesman. He acts as Jane’s promoter (Protagonist) and plays a crucial role in the development of her journey to inspiration for her next big hit. (PRINCIPAL)

MALFY
60-70yo Sweet grandmother type. Innocent and charming. Fragile and Naive. (PRINCIPAL)

ILYA (Depaneur Owner)
35-45yo Dep owner with lots of presence and grit. His energy is felt. A tough street smart character with a chip on his shoulder. (PRINCIPAL)

CAMERON
25-35yo Athletic and energetic. son to MALFY, Owner of a Mattress Store with a shady past. (ACTOR)

CORINNE (Depaneur Worker)
25 - 35yo Dep attendant who gets surprised by thief’s while on her shift. (Some simple stunts might be required but not a determining factor on selection) (ACTOR)

WIG STORE ATTENDANT
30 - 40yo woman that works at the local wig store where our protagonist tries to steal a wig and gets caught by the attendant. (ACTOR - 1 liner)

THUG
25 - 35yo tough guy that delivers a mysterious prepaid phone to the protagonist. (ACTOR - 1 liner)
