The Montreal Canadiens have signed 26-year-old winger Alexandre Texier. Texier and the St Louis Blues agreed on mutual contract termination. With all of the Habs injuries, it made sense for them to sign him. Our thoughts on Texier and where he might fit in the lineup

At the same time, the Habs call up Adam Engstrom. The timing of this call up is interesting. Lots of scouts have been watching the Habs and Laval Rocket games.
