I've had this pattern for a while now, and had the perfect occasion to make it for a friend's birthday! I used sparkle yarn ✨ for this guy because he is just pure magic! 💖 You can really see it shine in the video at the end!

🖤🦇❤️ VAMPY LOVE IS IN THE AIR ❤️🦇🖤

I am a huge fan of Kate Hensinger pop patterns, and Kate's latest collection, the Boo Basket Pops which are being released tomorrow, has completely blown me away! The construction and level of detail used to create these spooky friends is truly impressive.

There are many Boo Basket creatures to choose from: Ghost, Frank, Bride of Frank, Witch, Cat, Zombie, Skeletons, and the Vamps which you can see here.

I had so much fun testing Vampy & Vampirella, among others which I'll be posting separately in the upcoming days, and I think they make the perfect couple! Just look at how adorable they are together!!! My only regret is that for once I would have liked to have a gloomy day for my final pics, like you can see with Vampy in the last two photos, but Mother Nature would unfortunately not comply. Usually it's the other way around, but Murphy's Law, right??? 😅

🛁🦈 RUB-A-DUB-DUB, A SHARK IN A TUB! 🦈🛁

Just one more day until the pattern for these mini shark cuties is released!

This was my first pattern test for Cate, and I had a blast working on her first design in her upcoming series of mini plushies! This bundle will come with three shark designs; a Great White, a Hammerhead, and a Tiger Shark. Pictured here are Goldie the Great White and Hydro the Hammerhead.

These little cuties are really quick to whip up, and they come with a fun claw bath accessory. What I love most about these guys is their unique shaping that makes them extra fun! I can definitely see them as a regular go-to pattern for markets. Cate did such a great job, and I cannot wait to see the next designs that will be part of her Mini plushies lineup!

I present to you another batch of cute Halloween-themed minis from the recently released Tiny Terrors Critterlings pattern pack by Kelly Muti!

These guys are the perfect size for keychains or bag charms, and just too adorable to be any kind of scary if you ask me! 🥹

This is the second third of the pack I've made so far, and I just finished up the latest pattern test I was working on, so I'll be able to get started on the rest of them now, because I really want to make them all!

🧟‍♂️ THE CUTEST TINY TERRORS ALIVE (OR DEAD!) 🧟‍♂️

It felt so good to be back in the crochet game after two months of abstinence! And what a way to jump back in than with this test for Kelly Muti newest Critterlings pattern pack, The Tiny Terrors, which was just released today! 😁 This is just a third of what you'll find in this amazing bundle. I will post more in the coming days.

My crochet kindness inventory was wiped out clean before we left the boat to fly back to Canada for our visit with family & friends this summer, and I am really happy to have started replenishing it with some Halloween-themed makes, which we'll be able to give to the next kids we meet during our travels!

🧦 VACATION MAKE! 🧦

I started making these socks for myself back in March, and after about 12 hours of work, finished the first one near the end of April just to realize the foot was too short. 😭 I did NOT want to frog it, and decided they would be better suited for my eldest daughter who still has kid-sized feet even though she's a fully grown adult, lol!

Since I couldn't bring much yarn with me for my trip back home to Canada, I decided to keep the second sock for that occasion. It's the perfect project to fit in your purse and whip out in the car, waiting rooms, etc. Plus, not needing to refer to the pattern all the time makes it easy to work on it even if I only have 10-15 minutes, which is why I try to always have a sock on my needles now, even if it'll take me months to actually finish them because I get too distracted with crochet! 😂

I am back in Virginia now, and while I wait for the boat work to be done so that I can access my yarn and start crocheting again, I have a new pair going. You better believe I'll make sure they fit me before closing off the toes, though, lol!

🪴 Mini Phill the Philodendron 🪴

Before I left the boat to come visit family back home in Canada, my oldest daughter asked me to make a hanging car plant for her. She chose Phill the Philodendron pattern by Inês | Coty Loop ଳ. Since I couldn't fit lots of blanket yarn in my luggage, I brought some cotton yarn to make him instead.

He turned out so tiny and cute, but he is definitely too small to be used as a hanging car plant, haha! I might turn him into a keychain/bag charm, or leave him like that as a little desk or shelf companion. Either way, I am so in love with him!!!

🦥 SUNNY THE SLOTH 🦥

Just before leaving the boat to come to Canada to visit family and friends, a friend from high school contacted me and asked if I could make a sloth for her grandchild who is due to arrive in November.

I wasn't planning on packing any blanket yarn for the trip, but I made some space in my luggage for this project because the timing couldn't be more perfect! Also, I just couldn't pass up the occasion to make one of the numerous Mama Made Minis | Lindsay McNutt + Aly Dratch patterns I have in my collection that I hadn't had the chance to get around to yet!

Of course, since this was for a baby, I embroidered the eyes, and I think he just couldn't look any sweeter! I am totally in love with how he turned out!

The best part is that I haven't seen her since high school (31 years ago, OMG!) and I got to meet up with her to deliver this cutie in person! A very special moment indeed!
