Montreal is the most generous tipping city in Canada, with an average of 14.5 per cent, according to Lightspeed Commerce, a point-of-sale and e-commerce software provider.

The company notes that the city ranks ahead of Vancouver (13.4 per cent) and Toronto (12.3 per cent).

Data shows that 41 per cent of Montrealers tip in the 11-15 per cent range, while 37 per cent do so in the 16-20 per cent range - the most generous tip distribution of any major Canadian city.

Jon Bon Jovi has given an update on his vocals, following surgery and rehab that left him unsure of his future fronting Bon Jovi. More at CHOM.com.

In a new interview with People, the 64-year-old rock legend says he has his voice back to where he wants it after working with vocal coaches, and he is ready for the band’s upcoming gigs.

Bon Jovi is set to return to the stage for the “Forever Tour” with a nine-date residency at Madison Square Garden beginning July 7. They will then head over to the UK and Ireland for a string of shows.

The wayward kangaroo that was on the loose on Montreal’s South Shore has finally been captured.

The kangaroo was captured in a field in Boucherville by a team from the environment ministry, composed of veterinarians, animal health technicians, and wildlife protection officers.

After much confusion, the ministry confirmed that it was indeed a kangaroo and not a wallaby.

The Galahad SPCA said on Facebook that the kangaroo, nicknamed “Joey,” was being sent to the Granby Zoo.
