A Montreal studio creating and publishing comics. Titles include The Fathom, Trinity, Feared, AWW, Excelsior, I Have No Name and L.O.C.U.S. Cristopher Nicholson.

We also help bring together writers and artists to collaborate on projects. So, do you have an idea? SQUARED - IDEA is a Montreal based studio creating comics and graphic novels. Currently, the studio is working on it's first two titles: THE FATHOM written by Mike Wilcox and TRINITY written by David Koziol and G. We also help bring local writers and artists to work in the medium.

CANNON SALMON

Swawned in the 1920's, Gary the Salmon was always looking to the sky with wonder. To him it seemed so fascinating and deep inside, he knew that the sky was his true home.

On a sunny afternoon in the spring, he met Bingles the clown. They somehow linked telepathically and Bingles immediately understood that this fish must fly. He brought Gary back to his touring circus site, fitted him with a pith helmet and fired Gary into bright spring sky.

For a fleeting moment, Gary knew what it was like to soar through the sky.

The Squared-idea Showcase event was a fantastic success!

We'd like to say thank you to all the artists who shared their work and participated in our showcase. Huge shoutout to Brian Holidae for being the MC and interviewing our artists/writers. Working with you has always been fun and entertaining. Also we'd like to thank the staff from Meltdown Montréal (especially Roch) for being so accommodating and helpful with everything we needed.

On top of that, thanks to Shanks Events & Entertainment for checking for the vaccine passes and arranging photographer Ryan Rumpel Photography to shoot for the event. The pictures are great Ryan, thank you very much!

And lastly, for all of you who came to support local artists. We were so happy to see so many people show up. The Squared-idea team is extremely appreciative.
