Hardcore Gamer HardcoreGamer is a digital publication founded in June 2005 as a hardcopy video game magazine. Hardcore Gamer began its life as a printed magazine in 2005.

It's now an online source for news, reviews, game databases, and more. At a time when magazines were beginning to shut down, we did the opposite. Within months, hundreds of thousands of issues of Hardcore Gamer were distributed to subscribers internationally. We quickly became a trusted source in the industry, employing only writers who were seriously hardcore about gaming.
