La fondation du groupe musicale Koneksyon a vu le jour lorsque ces jeunes musiciens partageant la m

Leur style de musique a pris naissance autant dans le garage de l'un, le sous-sol de l'autre que lors des pauses récréatives à leur Collège. Ces plusieurs années passées sans lieu de pratique fixe forgèrent le caractère de ces jeunes et les unirent plus que jamais. Ce lien fort entre les musiciens inspira leur titre de nom de groupe, Koneksyon. Au fil du temps, ce titre fut sujet d'intérêt et cibl

e à plusieurs métaphores choisies par les fanatiques dont la plus populaire: lorsque le groupe
performe dans un bal, les spectateurs n'ont nul autre choix que de danser et de se connecter au son de leur musique! The foundation of the musical group Koneksyon was born when seven young musicians who share the same passion had a vision: to entertain the audience with the typical intoxicating sound of their roots. Indeed, these young Montrealers of Haitian origin offer a variety of styles, mixing the popular Haitian kompa played by several groups in vogue with a much more contemporary and refreshing tempo. Their style of music originated in the basement garage during college. Those several years without a fixed practice space forged the character of these young people and united them more than ever. This strong link between the musicians inspired their group name, Koneksyon. Over time, this title was subject of interest and target of several metaphors chosen by the fans; the most popular being when the group performs in a dance, the audience has no choice but to dance and connect to sound of their music!
