Brokeass Promotion, recording, show booking, compilations, and tour support for bands This year we put out our first release- The Brokeass Compilation Vol. 1.

Brokeass is a group based out of Montreal that aims to produce affordable punk rock. We coordinate our network of friends, bands, recording engineers, promoters and venues to produce compilations, provide affordable recordings and put on shows. It's a collection of 28 songs contributed by 14 Montreal bands, from bluegrass to hardcore. All the bands are unsigned and independent. Our goal was to pro

vide a way for bands to access and distribute physical copies of their music without being limited by the costs of recording and CD production. Through bulk production, costs were low for everyone, and no one was obliged to pay to be on the compilation. We recorded any bands who needed it. Brokeass music for brokeass folk.
