Road Trip Diaries: Days 4 & 5
After a few days of hiking and exploring the Bruce Peninsula, arriving at Blue Mountain Village felt like hitting the reset button.
We stayed at the Mosaic Boutique Suites, right in the heart of the village, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Everything was just a short walk away, which meant we could finally slow down and enjoy our vacation without constantly watching the clock.
Blue Mountain Village has such a fun atmosphere. It’s a pedestrian-friendly village filled with restaurants, cafés, shops, live entertainment, and beautiful mountain views. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just want to relax with an ice cream while people-watching, there’s something for everyone.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying a few of the attractions! We rode the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster, went zip lining, challenged ourselves on the Canopy Climb, and took the Open-Air Gondola for some incredible views overlooking the village and surrounding mountains. Each one was a fun experience in its own way.
Compared to the first part of our road trip, this was a much more relaxing pace. We weren’t driving four hours every day between our hotel and the attractions, so we had time to wander, enjoy good food, sit on a patio, and simply appreciate being on vacation together.
