Secret City Records is a Montreal-based record label originally founded in 2006 to release Patrick Watson’s album, Close to Paradise. We keep the roster small and focused, believing that attention to detail and a career-oriented approach will yield the best long-term results; we support the idea of a self-reinforcing community, where everyone helps each other grow; and we think globally, ensuring

that as many people from all over the world can discover and have access to our artists’ music. You will find that we are not limited by genre or format, nor by conventional thinking; that we strive to be fair, transparent, and humble; and that we’re always evolving and building. Our mission is to be a bridge between art and commerce, with unqualified respect and support for the artists’ vision.

Artiste adorée de la famille Secret City depuis la sortie de Heart Of My Own en 2010, Basia Bulat a lancé son premier album distribué à l’échelle mondiale avec l’étiquette, Tall Tall Shadow, en 2013. Au fil de sa carrière, elle a été finaliste du Prix de Musique Polaris à trois reprises, a enregistré une session Tiny Desk de NPR, et s’est produite à l’émission Later... with Jools Holland, a reçu les éloges du New York Times, du New Yorker et de plusieurs autres médias, et a fait rayonner sa musique auprès de publics du monde entier. ❤️ Son prochain EP - Bouquet 💐 sera disponible le 28 août prochain !
